Zoe Peterson

Zoe is a practicing Kinesiologist with the BC Association of Kinesiologists. Her love for fitness and athletics started early. Originally a track athlete and pole-vaulter in Oregon, she learned how dedicated training could transform your physique and your abilities. Her passion for athletics led her to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Zoe believes that people of all ages and abilities can benefit physically and mentally from intelligently training their bodies.

Zoe is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and worked as a personal trainer throughout her undergraduate degree. Through this experience, she gained an in-depth knowledge of exercise prescription, injury prevention and recovery, and the management of chronic pain.

As a Kinesiologist at MSK, Zoe’s goal is to empower her patients through education so they may take an active role in their own recovery. Working with a Kinesiologist can help you whether you’re looking to increase strength after an injury, learn more about exercise and lifting mechanics, improve sports performance, or recover from a motor vehicle accident.

Outside of work, Zoe enjoys spending time outdoors with family, and also competes in Powerlifting.
