Travis Tomlin

Travis has been a practicing physiotherapist and a member of the MSK team since graduating from UBC in 2015.  He prides himself on treating patients with the brightness and enthusiasm that he tries to bring to all situations.  With a wealth of experience in exercise, manual therapy, and guiding patients successfully through the healing process – Travis is very well suited to provide a treatment plan that is personalized, effective, and evidence-based.  More than just fixing a problem, Travis likes to provide patients with an understanding of the rationale and science behind the treatment, empowering patients and helping to improve outcomes.

He has certification in IMS (dry needling), mobilizations with movement (Mulligan Concept), and bike fitting (BikeFit and CyclePoint).

In addition to clinical practice, Travis maintains an extremely high training load throughout the year.  A passion for cycling, he races locally in high-level amateur races such as the Gastown Grand Prix. While the bike is his main focus – bouldering, weight lifting and running play a big part in keeping him a well-rounded human.

Whether you’re dealing with an acute injury, something that’s been bothering you for years, or you just want to get more active – Travis can help.
