Nate completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from SFU in 2009 before going on to obtain a Master of Physical Therapy from UBC in 2012. Since then he has primarily worked in private practice in both Vancouver and Burnaby.
What initially got him interested in physiotherapy was an injury he suffered while he was a teenager. During a soccer game he, unfortunately, broke his ankle. Unknown to him at the time, this injury set the course for what would end up being a career in health care. Intensive physiotherapy got him back to playing at a high-level competition and because of that experience, he strives for each of his patients to be able to return to the activities/lifestyle that they love and are important to them.
After completing a Master of Physical therapy, he has continued to further his knowledge and hone his skills by completing courses in Functional Dry Needling (FDN), Graston technique, Mulligan techniques and most recently, he completed a Master of Clinical Science in Advanced Health Care Practice (MClSc) through the University of Western Ontario. As a successful graduate of the program, he also became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and hitting the gym.
