Megan graduated from the West Coast Collage of Massage Therapy at the Victoria campus. She was first introduced to massage therapy while teaching yoga at a multidisciplinary clinic in Victoria and seeking relief from some knee pain due-to long distance running. After her first therapeutic massage treatment she was hooked and knew that helping athletes maintain healthy, balanced training through massage and patient education was what she wanted to do. She looks forward to working with weekend warriors, high performance athletes, or anyone that is looking to take on a more active lifestyle. Megan’s treatment style involves active release techniques, trigger point release, joint mobilization, deep tissue and myofascial release techniques. She is also very passionate about patient education and giving you the tools for well rounded health, both in the treatment room and at home.
Megan’s favourite activity and form of movement is running and competing in races, specifically the marathon distance. Besides running she enjoys swimming, golfing, hiking, and seeking out the cities best craft beers.
