Dr. Andrew Caroon is a Washington State native, growing up in the Seattle area where he developed a love for athletics and the outdoors at an early age. This passion lead him to study at Western Washington University where he received a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in Sports Psychology. After completing his undergraduate education, Andrew began searching for a career that would allow him to educate others on the mental and physical benefits associated with living an active lifestyle. This search led him to the University of Western States in Portland, OR where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic along with a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine.
While completing the Sports Medicine program, Andrew volunteered as an athletic trainer at multiple high schools around the Portland area, treating and educating young athletes on training principles and injury prevention. Additionally, he has treated athletes at numerous events throughout Oregon including marathons, obstacle course races, high school football games and beach volleyball tournaments. Andrew enjoys treating a variety of populations and understands that no two patients are the same and require a unique approach for their specific needs. Because of this, he prioritizes the pursuit of additional certifications and continuing education courses in order to better assist his patients and get them back to living pain free. He believes that soft-tissue techniques, rehabilitative exercise and having a strong foundation for movement are valuable tools in addition to chiropractic manipulation to aid in recovery from your injuries related to motor vehicle accidents, sports or life’s daily stresses.
When Andrew is not in the clinic, you may find him enjoying one of the many fine food establishments around Vancouver. He also spends his time hiking, camping, bike riding, playing basketball, fly fishing, and kettlebell training in which he is also a Level 1 Certified Instructor through StrongFirst.
