Abigail (Abbey) is a graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and will be a Registered Massage Therapist in the fall of 2022. With an interest in physical fitness, biology, and verbal therapy. Abbey eventually came to the conclusion that massage therapy encompassed all of her passions, and is keen to build her practice working with those who want to develop a well-rounded approach to health and movement.

Treatments with Abbey start with a conversation about the client’s goals, lifestyle, and the concern at hand, coupled with necessary assessments to better understand the tissues being affected. Once a mutual agreement is established, techniques and applications used are a combination of Swedish massage, as well as neuromuscular and myofascial techniques, dynamic release, and joint mobilizations to improve joint health.

Upon registration, Abbey intends to explore lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, and trauma language and care.

Outside of the clinic Abbey keeps active by hiking, cycling, and working out at home, coupling yoga with weight training. She also spends time finding local parks to enjoy and the hidden gems of Vancouver, recommendations are welcome.
