Had a great 1 hour massage with Joel. He listened to what I wanted and delivered a thorough massage to all areas that we discussed! As the lyrics go, "it hurt so good"😌
Highly recommend Joel if you are looking for a good RMT.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. I arrived 7 minutes before my appointment, and they told me it had just been canceled. It's ironic—if I wanted to cancel, I would have had to give them 24hrs notice or be charged the full amount, yet they canceled just minutes before my scheduled time. The only response I got was a simple 'sorry.' Very disappointing.

Elliot is a wonderful and caring massage therapist. He is helpful to find appointment time's when I’m really in need of one and he’s very attentive to my specific needs and his treatments are extremely beneficial. The MSK clinic staff are always very friendly and helpful as well. Booking appointments are an easy process either online or in person.

I don't know why the front office manager didn't mention for me the time for the appointment
She just told me it's all available and the cupping
I try to know more from her and she was speaking so fast even I asked her to explain more and she didn't mention the 15 min appointment will be for 72$
She told me the appointment all inclusive for 72$ ?????
That’s was the massage I send it to know more from them and it was after my first appointment the doctor was perfect but it’s the only thing I wasn’t like
Buy the way I try to text them to have more explanation but only sorry and apologize it’s fine I’m not happy for my first impression

I love MSK (downtown) and have had only great experiences there. John is a knowledgeable and highly competent chiropractor with an approach to chiropractic that is well grounded in good science. The physio (Tess) and RMT (Abigail) that I've seen there, as well as the office staff have all been equally competent and professional. Everyone there is also warm and friendly. I always feel welcome, safe, and well cared for when I go for treatment.

Thank you Joel Gellvear for helping me with my chronic lower back and Achilles pain. I love playing basketball but it's getting tough with age. It helped that Joel has a background in sports and could offer me specialized treatment, but also give me some amazing take home exercises. Much appreciate, Joel!

MSK is a fantastic all equipped multi practitioner health and wellness facility. Rob Morris is an amazing RMT who genuinely cares about his clients and always goes above and beyond to give the ultimate care and service. Wouldn't see any other massage therapist except Rob gets booked up so much I sometimes have to!

ALso John White is my go to chiropractor offering an above and beyond level of service himself and always lemda a friendly ear to questions about health and wellness.

Oh and the admin staff are also wonderful 🙂

I’ve had both RMT massages and a chiropractic appointment at MSK, they are very organized, knowledgeable, patient, and great at explaining each treatment to you. I am super comfortable, and have left feeling intense relief. 10/10 recommend.

I've been going to this clinic over 8months, mostly seeing Chloe and Glenn. They've been just wonderful, caring and professional, helped me with my chronic back pain a lot. The exercises that they gave me were something unique and feel that it's actually working. I just need to find more "me" time to do them. Bianca has been the most lovely receptionist ever..!

I have been going to MSK Clinics exclusively for my family’s physio and chiro needs. I came to Dr. Cashman years ago when I was in extreme pain from a herniated disc; he had me up and walking pain-free again within a few weeks. His knowledge and experience is second to none. His friendly demeanor makes the sessions go quickly; he knows how to take the focus off of the pain. I have been coming lately again for some lingering issues, and again, in a few weeks, I am feeling so much better.

The physio at MSK has also helped my kids with their various sports injury. They recovered completely in short order.

I recommend MSK without any reservations whatsoever. You will not regret it!

I came here with a sore back from my car accident. Billy was really professional and thorough in diagnosing where I felt pain and explaining the possible reasons for my discomfort. He applied proper techniques and pressures while maintaining verbal assurances with me to make sure I wasn't in pain. Great experience so far with him and this clinic; I would 100% recommend coming here!

I am so thankful that I got to know about the MSK services. Dr. Cashman is a blessing. He’s super proficient and super experienced and also super friendly. The overall staff is also v helpful and friendly as well. I always look forward to my Chiropractor appointments. MSK has indeed been a life changer for me. They are also super flexible with the timings, bookings and availability. This makes it easy for me to fit my appointment into my busy schedule. Also, the location of the office also adds to the whole positive experience. You get a nice view of the mountains and the clouds which makes you feel really pleasant.

I began attending MSK Health and Performance Clinic (Burnaby) after I was in a car accident last year and have had an excellent experience. The RMT Billy is very professional, caring and attentive. Overall great service improving my neck pain after the accident and returning for regular maintenance massages once the pain subsided. I’ve only seen RMT Paul Binette twice but wow is he ever good. He’s a powerful guy with gentle hands and we are in constant communication throughout the session. He’s extremely knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Honestly I’ve never felt such relief of my low back.

I’ve been seeing Glenn for lower back pain and sports-related injuries for over 10 years. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable with his methods, and he is always very thoughtful with his explanations about what he’s doing and why. I’ve referred multiple people to Glenn over the years and have received great feedback. I highly recommend Glenn for your chiropractic needs.

The team at MSK is very skilled and very friendly. They have helped me with recovering my knee health after an injury and they are essential for maintaining my back and neck health. They always take the time to get to know my issues , tailor the treatment for me and walk me through the treatment plan. Their massage, chiro or physical therapy treatments have literally put me back on my feet and helped get back into sports.

I came here for RMT treatment. I first saw Katherine Farrell and she was fantastic. She has been through her own injury journey so she understood how to care for a patient with extreme and chronic pain. I had a whiplash and concussion injury at that time. I was about a year into seeking treatments that could help the chronic nature of post injury.
Unfortunately, she was fully booked when I wanted to come back (no surprise because she's great) so that began my attempt to find another RMT there to work with. I went to THREE and all three were very poor at understanding and managing my situation. Across the board all three did not listen to me and insisted on doing what they thought was "right" even though I as the patient knew my body best. And each time I walked away in worst condition than when I arrived. It was not the expected post treatment flare that I accept can happen, no this was a set back for me each time. The first man I went to was so-so and made some comments when I asked him to push more gently on me, saying "really? but then it won't work" So I didn't go back. The next women I tried was the worst of the 3. When I tried to explain why she must not work on my neck directly she interrupted me and made a very condescending speech about why I was wrong. She eventually had me in tears and I left the session 15 minutes into the treatment. Tara was terrible and I will never recommend her for anyone with actual problems and injuries. Then I went to Jessica. She eventually sort of listened but initially it was a fight to get her to hear me out. There are specific compensations that my body was employing as a result of the concussion and without understanding these mechanisms clearly (which these 3 did not and many practitioners in the field do not, that is why I need to explain it). But during treatment she slightly pushed my boundaries anyway and at the end of the session my entire nervous system was up-regulated and the pain was higher.
Now all of this time later I am finally in a recovered state because I found other practitioners in other clinics who knew how to listen to me and used my knowledge to guide their treatment. As a result I am better now. But I cannot let poorly trained practitioners be unaware of their practices.

Thank you to the clinic for taking the time to read my review. I hope time can be taken to educated your staff about being patient-centric (not ego-centric) and learning how to work WITH their client.
I am hugely disappointed in the clinic overall. I only tried so hard to keep going there because you are in my neighbourhood and it was easier for me to get there. This was a mistake.

I've been in to MSK kitsilano multiple times over the past few years with various issues. I've been to multiple practitioners for a range of treatments and had an excellent experience all around. Knowledge, care, and practical treatment plans coupled with a bright and cheery, yet professional atmosphere, makes MSK my go to when my body is in need! Thanks to all who work there.
